What OdoTrail is

OdoTrail is a local-first mileage record. It helps you add or review trips, distinguish distance sources, organize a reporting period and create shareable CSV/PDF or backup outputs. Availability and supported capabilities may change.

Review is part of the workflow

GPS-derived distance, an odometer reading and a distance you entered are different kinds of information. OdoTrail keeps those sources distinct, but it cannot independently prove a route, trip purpose, odometer or business classification. Check each record before relying on it.

No tax, legal or safety certification

OdoTrail is not tax advice, legal advice, an official mileage certificate, an accounting system, an odometer replacement or a guarantee that a report will be accepted by an authority, employer or insurer. Country-specific rules and reimbursement rates change; verify them with a qualified local source. Do not use the app while driving or as a safety-critical instrument.

Location and recording

Manual records remain available without location access. Any recording session is user-started and subject to iOS permission and device conditions; iOS may show a location indicator and, when the relevant capability is enabled, allow the explicit session to continue in the background. OdoTrail does not claim to detect every trip automatically or to provide a complete distance. Review and correct a captured record before confirming it.

Local exports and sharing

Reports and backups are generated from the records available on your device at that time. A generated report is a snapshot, not a live feed. Sharing transfers content to the destination you select, and that destination’s terms apply. You are responsible for checking recipients and retaining any copies you need.

Website and support

This website is informational and has no checkout, account, cookie banner or analytics service. For help, contact support@odotrail.app. Do not send a full route history or backup unless support specifically requests it.

Purchases and subscriptions

OdoTrail Pro is offered through monthly or annual auto-renewable subscriptions, or a one-time lifetime purchase. The app displays the applicable local price and billing period supplied by Apple before confirmation. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; you can manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings. Lifetime unlocks Pro without recurring billing, but does not automatically cancel an existing subscription. Restore Purchases is available in Settings and on the purchase screen. The included seven-day recording/reporting window is an app allowance, not a subscription trial, and does not start a paid subscription.

Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the App Store app.

Changes and availability

We may update these terms as the app and its reviewed capabilities evolve. If a material change affects how records or data are handled, the updated date will be changed on this page. Nothing here promises uninterrupted location services, report delivery or a particular legal outcome.
